Chapter Eight: Eileen falls in love

Jim and Wayne were spending most of their time watching films and TV shows from Earth. They had tried to watch films from Inanna but found them boring as they were mostly romantic stories. Even though some had explicit sex scenes in them and that interested them. From these romantic films they got an idea of how the roles of the sexes were so different on Inanna. Many showed romantic stories between older women and young handsome men, which the three Earth men found unusual.

Graham meanwhile was also busy studying Inanna and Omnuni science from electronic library that seems to have an endless amount of knowledge about the universe. Rumbidzia would appear at odd times to take them to the hall and give them parade ground training. The Earth men couldn’t see the point of this, but it got them out of the apartment for a while, which they liked. Rumbidzia would also bring along other women with her who would also give them orders.

Then they received a visit from Easther who came with Eileen.

“Hello boys,” said Eileen, “this is my friend Easther and she is interested to know what is the most popular and commonplace car in Australia today.”

Eileen could sense Easther’s nervousness and fear in coming face to face with the Earth men.

“But before we start,” she said, “you must give the customary greeting of a man to a woman.”

The three young men gave Eileen an uncertain look, as she never demanded this before.

“Kiss our feet,” ordered Eileen.

The three men did as they were told and Eileen could feel it helped overcome Easther’s fear of the Earth men, and she became more relaxed when she saw they were completely obedient.

As well as, she sensed, and in common with herself… excited.

“Now we want to know about the cars,” said Eileen after the three men had crawled back to their seats.

There was an immediate disagreement about this, as all three Earth men had different opinions about this. They then went on the internet on earth and the Earth men acquainted Easther with all the popular makes of car in Australia.

“Why are Earth men so horrible to each other?” asked Easther to Eileen as they walked away from the Earth man’s apartment.

“I don’t know,” admitted Eileen, “Aren’t men like that on Inanna?”

“You do get it among small boys,” admitted Easther, “but we teach them that this is unacceptable and they grow out of it as they get older. So it is a bit of a shock to see grown men behave like that.”

“I suppose boys are brought up in a very different way on earth,” commented Eileen, “not all Earth men are like this, you saw that Graham kept out of it, it was mostly between Wayne and Jim.”

“It is something both Wayne and Jim will have to learn,” said Easther, “if they are to become part of Inanna society. They will need to be separated when we get to Inanna as they are clearly a bad influence on each other.
